On 19 September, the Greenteam came together at Hübner-KTB in Kaufbeuren (KTB) for our meeting, which takes place four times a year. The green team is made up of the ASA, environment and energy meeting and includes one of our two managing directors, the production manager, two works council members, the safety officer, our external company doctor, the safety, energy management, fire protection and environmental management officer and our external incident and hazardous goods officer.
Topics relating to occupational health and safety, environmental protection and energy are discussed in this group. These include, for example, analysing the accident situation, sickness rates, employee health protection (e.g. flu vaccination, PPE), advice on measures and facilities, upcoming occupational safety tasks and feedback on implemented measures from the last meeting.
After the meeting, a tour of the building is carried out and a production area is inspected in turn or, if relevant topics are pending, these are inspected.
In this way, we are able to create safe and healthy working conditions for all employees and further improve our already very good position in the industry.
