Chrome-plated plastic parts uniquely combine the positive properties of injection-moulded parts with the high-quality appearance of a metal surface. The following advantages can be mentioned as examples:

Of course, the metal layer is also electrically conductive. This gave our developers the idea that it should be possible to give the metal surface a function. The operation of devices by touch screens is a technical standard today. Couldn’t chrome parts be produced in such a way that they have a touch function?
ChromeTouch is the result of this development. Chrome parts can now also be used as a means of control. It is conceivable to control ambient lighting directly on the component where the light comes out. Other possible applications include the control of air conditioning and heating systems and even window regulators.

- Plastic injection moulding
  Our plastic injection moulding has fully automated and multiple camera-monitored injection moulding machines. From simple 1K components to complex multi-K solutions, we manufacture components to the highest quality standards.
- Plastic electroplating
  Experienced electroplating technicians guarantee high-quality finished surfaces, efficient plants and sophisticated cascade rinsing technology for both cost-effective and environmentally friendly production.
- Physical Vapour Deposition
  The PVD process offers another way to expand your product range and convinces with precise and uniform coating on the desired surfaces.
- Laser technology
  Our laser manufacturing is characterised by high precision, versatility, speed, clean machining and sophisticated automation capability. These features enable efficient and high-quality material processing.
- Control and assembly
  Our control and assembly department mills, prints, assembles, welds and checks the parts and assemblies according to the customer’s specifications. In addition, Hübner-KTB has an automated control system that checks the part quality using a camera.
