    In our laser production we process the components pre-treated in the electroplating process in such a way that no chrome or metal layer grows in specified symbols during the final coating. This makes it possible to create very fine symbols as well as lines and high-precision lettering that can be seen through in the night design.

    Hübner-KTB Oberflächentechnik GmbH produces customer-specific components in the 1K, 2K and 3K plastic injection moulding process on more than 6,500 m² at two locations with more than 50 plastic injection moulding machines in the clamping force range up to 6,500 kN.

    All systems are automated and in many cases equipped with camera systems for monitoring component quality.
    Highly efficient CNC handling systems effectively increase the degree of automation.

    Through injection moulding with up to three components, we are able to produce complex multifunctional components from various plastics. After individual consultation, we offer conversion, core-back or index technology for the 2K and 3K process, taking into account economic and technical aspects.

    Granulate pre-drying, central granulate supply, tool maintenance by the company’s own mould making department as well as careful measurements for quantity and quality determination guarantee the required process reliability and almost constant machine running times.

    Our modern plastic electroplating plants are used for the surface finishing of raw plastic parts made of ABS or ABS-PC. Hübner-KTB Oberflächentechnik GmbH has many years of extensive expertise in the electroplating of plastic parts for interior as well as exterior applications with various chrome surfaces (high gloss or matt in different degrees of gloss). Through electroplating, the metal layers give the surfaces a decorative appearance, high scratch resistance, a stiffer bond with better heat resistance and protection against static charging, electrical interference (shielding) and the effects of UV light. Due to the different geometries, requirements, surfaces, etc., a specific processing programme is stored in the control of the electroplating machine for each article.
    As a member company of the Fachverband Galvanisierter Kunststoffe e.V. (FGK), we pay attention to the careful handling of all incoming and outgoing resources.

    In our electroplating plants, all relevant process baths are extracted. This exhaust air is then completely cleaned in the exhaust air system, which is designed according to the latest technical and chemical findings. We prove the effectiveness in regular monitoring measurements.
    In our modern water treatment plants, the waste water produced in rinses and process baths is turned back into pure water. In this process, each batch of water is analysed in the final control and only released if it meets our high requirements. All these analyses are subject to control by external laboratories and the relevant authorities.

    In our laser production, we process the components pre-treated in the electroplating process in such a way that no chrome or metal layer grows in specified symbols during the final coating. This makes it possible to create very fine symbols as well as lines and high-precision lettering. They are translucent in the night design. Another special feature is our hidden line process, which creates structures that are largely invisible in day design but can still be illuminated in the dark. Semi-automatic and fully automatic machines are used in this area and quality monitoring is carried out via camera inspection. Our marking fields go up to 600 mm x 600 mm. We manufacture on 5 laser systems, 2 precision lasers and 2 fully automatic machines. Various laser techniques and applications are protected by our own patent or utility model rights.
